2016年3月21日至25日，2016IFFTI国际时装院校联盟年度学术会议（THE 18TH ANNUAL IFFTI CONFERENCE）将在北京服装学院隆重举办。IFFTI国际时装院校联盟是时尚教育界的国际性权威组织，于1999年10月14日在印度新德里成立，目前其成员为遍布23个国家和地区的58所机构，包括43所正式成员、10所准成员以及5所时尚机构。伦敦时装学院（LCF）、日本文化学园大学（BGU）、澳大利亚皇家墨尔本理工大学时装学院（RMIT-SFT）、巴黎时装学院（IFM）、纽约时装学院（FIT）、阿姆斯特丹时装学院（AMFI）等全世界著名的时装专业院校都是IFFTI的重要成员，北京服装学院、东华大学、浙江理工大学是中国大陆地区的IFFTI成员院校。

IFFTI机构成员每年进行国际年度会议并就双边协议和众多的专业发展活动展开交流协作。2015年5月12日至16日期间，在意大利柏丽慕达时装学院（POLIMODA）举办的2015年IFFTI年度会议上，IFFTI总理事会一致决定：2016年IFFTI年度会议将于2016年3月21日至25日在中华人民共和国北京服装学院举办。

作为2016 IFFTI 年度会议的主办单位，北京服装学院提出了本届会议的主题和内容，届时将由北京服装学院院长刘元风教授担任大会主席，现IFFTI国际时装院校联盟主席、伦敦时装学院院长FrancesCorner教授担任大会副主席，北京服装学院还将特邀文化界、艺术界和时尚界的重量级嘉宾出席本届会议。预计将有超过200位的各国专家、学者莅临北服，大家将就“文化新生Cultural Revival”这一主题及相关子议题开展多项学术交流活动，其中包含学术会议、学术论文宣讲、设计论文陈述、服饰设计作品动态和静态展示，以及服装机构、博物馆及古迹建筑参观交流等文化活动。

2014, awarded “Forbes Prize” --- the top honour in international cultural relics protection

2016 IFFTI会议主题

文化新生Cultural Revival

传统文化的活化和新生、现代文明的反思更新和再设计，这是当代产业发展不可回避的问题。时尚产业和服装教育如何促进文化的新生？有哪些有益的探索和成果？基于此，本届会议将分为以下5个子专题进行探讨，分别是：

1.   技术·创新·再设计（Technology, Innovation and Redesign）

2.   工艺·技艺·非遗（Craft·Technique·Intangible CulturalHeritage）

3.   社会·经济（Society·Economyin Fashion)

4.   教育（Education in Fashion）

5.   可持续设计（Sustainable design in Fashion )

学校高度重视2016 IFFTI国际时装院校联盟年度学术会议的召开，成立了专门的会议领导小组及工作小组，确保会议各项条件的完备和充分。本届会议由我校服装艺术与工程学院发起和承办，学院于一年前即成立组委会，开始各项沟通、申报和筹备工作。经过专家盲审环节，截止目前，组委会已通过11个国家和地区的52篇学术论文，5个国家和地区的15篇设计论文，以及23名设计师的70套服装作品。

北京服装学院拥有集中于首都北京的全国纺织服装行业协会的组织机构资源，具有多次举办国际性学术交流活动的丰富经验，为2016 IFFTI 年度会议相关的学术研究的开展和实施提供了必备条件。同时，我校有着强大的师资资源及学术研究力量，并同国际设计类院校保持着良好的沟通与合作关系，使得本次会议相关学术研究的土壤深厚，设计作品视野开阔。2016 IFFTI国际时装院校联盟年度学术会议在北京服装学院的举办，必将进一步提升北服的学术影响力和国际知名度，进一步促进和加强我校在学术及行业领域的国际性文化交流与协作，同时也将进一步激发北服师生的学术热情和专业活力，凝聚宝贵的学术精神并不断延展、持续。
